Here a couple of thoughts in regard to the fact that AI is most indubitably here to stay:

• Never ask AI for ideas!

• Do not ask AI without having done research on a given subject before.

• Do your best on a text and for the sake of humanity do not cut and paste anything suggested by AI.

• If you must, and I sincerely hope you don’t, copy whatever suggestion AI has provided in a separate text-box and rewrite your original text using whatever suggestions you find better than your own. Learn in the process until you don’t need artificial help anymore and have found your own voice. More work – yes – but NO copy right infringement and you’ll feel better.
